What the Water Remembers

Project in development.

When Hurricane Melissa reshaped Jamaica’s southwest coastline, it disrupted more than homes and roads — it fractured a generational relationship between people, land, and sea. What the Water Remembers follows a fishing community in St. Elizabeth as they rebuild livelihoods, mourn what was lost, and learn to belong to a landscape that no longer looks like itself.
