Hi there!
I’m Jhanielle.
I'm a documentary photographer with an engineering background, exploring the relationship between people, place, and the environments we move through.
My work focuses on human experiences, cultural spaces, travel, and the small details that shape how we live. I'm especially interested in how individuals engage with their surroundings, from everyday routines and community spaces to moments of reflection and movement through the world.
I approach everything with a mix of structure and intuition. Whether documenting a place or developing a new project, I'm always asking how small interactions and lived experiences shape who we become.
Alongside my photography, I work in technology, bringing systems thinking and problem-solving to new product launches. This is a field journal—a space to share stories, creative process, and observations about travel, sustainability, culture, and meaning.
Selected projects include National Geographic · Black Heritage Tree Project.
