Finding Joy in Life’s Little Moments: A Backyard Reflection
My Little Moment
As I slipped on my gardening boots and tucked my pant legs inside, and donned a light, long-sleeve jacket, I prepared to face the mosquitos outside. The first thing I did when I stepped outside was look to the right. I was not prepared for what I saw — a snake.
The snake was on the left side of the A/C unit, relatively close to the chicken coop. I screamed and ran inside after unexpectedly seeing the snake it sent me in a minor panic. I was preparing for mosquitos, not snakes.
My garden might look messy, but every corner has its own little order. Organized chaos at its finest.
